Last month, Wetpixel.com featured a gallery of Ned’s underwater photographs in its Full Frame feature. It was fun to select them from our favorites of the past two years and Ned enjoyed annotating them with comments. In our introduction to Full Frame, it was announced that we would be writing a monthly column for Wetpixel, called the BlennyWatcher Diary. Wetpixel is an online site featuring underwater photography and videography and has been a good friend to BlennyWatcher, sharing occasional stories from this blog in their news feed. When editor Adam Hanlon approached me about a regular column, we agreed that instead of making it a rehash of BlennyWatcher posts, it would be a good opportunity to share a few more photos and anecdotes from our dive trips. And, I can share anything else I might learn about a previous topic that would not justify a full Blennywatcher blog post. For example, after writing here about Ned’s blackwater night dive in Ambon, we received id’s for two of the animals that he photographed and after the Molly Miller post, several people asked me how the Molly Miller got its name – the Blennywatcher Diary is the perfect place to share follow-up notes and additional identifications. We hope you’ll check it out here: The BlennyWatcher Diary
